What do you think?

A few months ago we read that that showing your dark roots was in Vogue.
Now some crazy fashionistas are saying that chipped nail polish is the new sign of "Professional Fabulousness''????
Not in our books or in writer Verena Von Pfetten's! Check out Verena's great rant about this new beauty trend in HuffingtonPost

What it this? It's a no way! What's next, dirt under the finger nails? I think this is just laziness. Better you don't have polish at all if you are not going to keep them looking good and polished. I say no to chipped polish.

Dirty finger nails!! Too funny, Bellarose! I agree that chipped polish is a terrible look. It's sloppy and unattractive. I would rather go without polish...

I agree with bellarose about what's next? Dirt under the fingernails. I say NO!

I guess it can be done with the ripped jeans and the dark roots. Not very attractive no matter how you chip them!

I guess the next thing is toe jam with your new flip flops. Please give me a break. I guess professionalism comes in all forms. Hard to believe!!!!!!

I hate to say it but Chipped nail polish is not very attractive it shouts "I don't care if the world knows I'm a slob" there is something dirty about it
The hand model also had better do something about her hands
BTW if you don't want to take care of your nails there is nothing wrong with clean hands & clipped nails.

Manicured nails always look nice...even without polish..just buffed. Which brings me to a thought..what about men with clear polish on their nails? I don't like that look....but they also should have well kept nails.

This is great! Now I can hold my head high when my nails chip within two days after a manicure. Brilliant! I can see it now, the next time I'm meeting with important clients I can expose my chipped up nails and they will instantly know that I am super in style, and be completely awed and impressed.
NOT!
