Chanel No :5

Someone very rightly said that a perfume is like a signature, it gives out one’s character.
Celebrity signature perfumes are everywhere right now, but the first perfume to be named after its designer was Chanel No.5, introduced in 1921. No.5 was also the first “abstract” composed fragrance, completely opposite to the mono –floral scents in fashion at the time. Until then, perfumes were made from natural flowers and had to be sprayed frequently to make them last.
Was that a “Thank God”, I just heard?
