First Lady Fashion Forward Again

If you are like many women, you wear scarves at certain times of the year. Whether it’s for reasons of warmth during the cold winter months or simply a style preference, you can dress up your scarves with nothing more than a simple brooch. If you enjoy the look of a wrapped scarf, place the pin in the front or slightly off to the side so that it’s visible.
A shawl, when worn, will have the tendency to slip and fall out of place from the woman’s shoulder area. They would need something to pin them in place. This is where a pin or brooch comes into great use.
BroochesandPins has been a thing of the past (well, almost). Michelle Obama was the one asking the questions at Monday's championship round of the Annual National Science Bowl in Washington, DC. And for the occasion, the first lady debuted a gray Narciso Rodriguez pantsuit accessorized with a lavish, sparkly brooch. Science has never looked so chic! However many still adhered to the old ways of wearing their pins, which is on the lapel.
Casual or formal, brooches and pins add a touch of glitter for any occasion.
