Lanvin (Hearts) H&M's Shopping Frenzy

The gals at Soho Accessories don't like long lines, or crowds. We don't have to be first! Did we miss out on Lanvin fashions sure, but it was an unselfish act so that there was more for everyone else.
The Cut reports on Saturday, Lanvin's H&M collection went on sale in 24 stores across the country. The launch of Lanvin (Hearts) H&M brought more than 300 customers to the store on Fifth Avenue in New York. Customers at the front of the line received gift bags consisting of an organic Lanvin (Hearts) H&M tote, a scarf and a lipstick. Alber Elbaz pulled up in his town car to make sure there was a line. "I can’t believe it. I was sure there would be no one. I was a bit panicked," he said, watching from the security of his car rather than going in where he didn't want to cause a Kim Kardashian–esque riot. At least one shopper, Peter Park from Flushing, waited thirteen hours to get into the store.

Nicole Eng, a 27-year-old graphic designer, said, “It was this collection that really introduced me to Lanvin.” Eng ended up spending $1,700 on Lanvin (Hearts) H&M. She said it was ‘’the most I’ve ever spent in my life.’’ Even not wholly satisfied customers forked over a paycheck or more.
Caitlin, who declined to give her last name, said the quality was good, but the sizes “itsy bitsy.” She still managed to spend $1,800. Most shoppers didn’t hold back.
Wensen Ho, a 30-year-old who works in advertising, spent around $3,000 buying virtually every item from the womens assortment for his wife. “She is pregnant and can’t be here, so I am doing a run,” he said.
So the economy is on a upswing? Tell us how was the Lanvin (Hearts) at your H & M?

Wow, that's insane. I think some of the designs are nice but expensive just because of the label.

However, had I been quick enough online, I would've bought one of those yellow dresses. But I'm not insane enough to take a day off work and queue in the cold!

Lining up is all part of the fun! It really gets you in the spirit. The economy is set to rise, but slowly...very slowly. I loved this collection, and yes, partly because of the label, but also because it pieces were actually good.
