Happier Holidays

The holiday can be tough with all of the stress of shopping, pressure of holiday gift giving and trying to make the holidays perfect. To help with all of the stress here is a simple yoga technique that can help you restore the calm.
1. Lie down or sit comfortably, close your eyes and begin to take notice of your breath.
2. Take a deep breath, feeling your upper chest, rib cage and belly expend.
3. Pause briefly, then slowly exhale feeling your belly and chest drop.
4. Continue breathing this way for several cycles. Then experiment with inhaling for two counts and exhaling for four counts.
